Among the various styles, the classic ‘basketweave parquet’ made a significant comeback, with demand increasing by 40% year-on-year. Its ability to marry traditional charm with modern sophistication makes it a go-to choice for design-conscious homeowners.

Terrazzo effect flooring

The distinctive terrazzo look, featuring glass, shell, and marble chips, became a must-have in 2024. Its unique and customisable finish ensures no two installations are alike, making it a favorite for those seeking individuality in their interiors. Many homeowners embraced the terrazzo aesthetic through durable and low-maintenance LVT flooring, offering style and practicality. Social media also played a role in its popularity, with over 65,800 Instagram posts under #terrazzofloor showcasing these unique designs.

Searches for ‘coloured floors’ have increased by 25% in recent months, and jewel tones are on the rise, promising a striking shift in interior design. Luxury vinyl flooring

Luxury vinyl flooring is set to continue its reign as a top choice for homeowners in 2025, offering the perfect blend of style, affordability, and practicality. Over the last 12 months, global demand for LVT has surged by 22%.
