4D technology roadtrip with Virtual Worlds

KBB retailers will experience virtual reality up close when CAD design company, Virtual Worlds, embarks on a series of roadshows to showcase 4d technology.

First stop will be the Roca Gallery where the latest developments from Virtual Worlds, Laufen and Roca will be on show. This includes Virtual Worlds’ groundbreaking 4D technology 4D Theatre software.

Attendees will be able to try the technology and take part in the discussion “How to reinvigorate the High Street”.  The discussion will centre on ways to drive customers into showrooms and compete with internet retailers.

As the retail landscape becomes more challenging, showrooms need to look at ways to differentiate their offering from online sellers. One way to do this is by by enhanced customer experience,  the discussion will centre around ideas for this.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Roca Gallery and view the latest collections.

Nathan Maclean, managing director of Virtual Worlds commented: “2018 has been an incredibly exciting year for us with product launches and new developments in the works. CAD design has come a long way and VR technology is making its mark as the future of design.

We have always been pro the designer and pro the showroom. We’re looking forward to leading the discussion into helping secure the future of bricks and mortar retailers.”

David Bromell, Gallery Manager at Roca London, added: “The Roca London Gallery is such a versatile space. It works perfectly for an event such as the Virtual Worlds roadshow.

“The Roca and Laufen product showroom shares its space naturally with exhibitions, presentations, professional meetings and events relating to design, architecture and sustainability. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests at this upcoming event and exploring virtual reality.”
