InSinkErator^® has donated several food waste disposers to Stuart Clinton Property Limited for its social housing projects for vulnerable adults in Coventry to reduce food waste and the associated bad odours, in their kitchen bins.

Stuart Clinton Property Limited is an ethical development company that creates modern care home facilities for those battling mental illnesses. One property in Coventry that received an Evolution 150 food waste disposer from InSinkErator^® is a recently refurbished home, once a bed and breakfast, that now can house ten male adults needing additional support.

In addition to the housing facilities themselves, Stuart Clinton Property works with its care partner, Aspects Care, to support its residents with a life skills programme to enable them to progress from living in a residential care setting to supported living accommodation. Key parts of the programme are learning how to use the latest home appliances and maintaining a healthy diet, which includes cooking plenty of meals from scratch.
