Formica Group has released Aria, a new range of solid core worktops in ultra slim 12mm and 20mm. Available in selected kitchen studios.

Aria is the latest innovation in kitchen surfacing from Formica Group; a sophisticated surface combined with a solid, colour matched core. It was developed to respond to the growing trend demand from kitchen studios and consumers for a real alternative to natural and engineered stone.

There are three colour palettes; cool greys, natural whites, and modern blacks, complementing any kitchen setting.

Aria is available in 15 stone, granite and marble decors plus patterns and plain colours, influenced by preferences as revealed in AMA’s UK Kitchen Studio Survey Findings. These decors are replicated from hand picked materials from around the world by Formica Group’s global design team and incorporated into one single slab.

From the outset, this new surface has been developed as an alternative to natural and engineered stone, without compromising on aesthetics, finish, quality or durability of the surface. The worktops, which are finished with a slight chamfer and polished edge, can be cut to size on site and installed using standard tools, reducing time and installation expense.

Constructed in one piece, it’s waterproof even when the coloured core is revealed, making it ideal for under-mounted sinks, curved island edges and incorporating drainage grooves.

Aria also allows for a mitre joint to be cut for a smoother edge finish and can be matched with verticals including splashbacks, cabinets and doors.
