National Home Improvement 4D 3D Virtual Reality Worlds

4D Theatre helps in National Home Improvement Month

As National Home Improvement Month approaches and latest research* reveals that 69% of UK property owners don’t like the current look of their homes, more and more consumers are set to call on 4D technology to help create their dream kitchen, bedroom and bathroom in the coming months.

According to the research, the kitchen is the room that most Brits will focus on for their home improvements in 2019, followed by the bedroom and bathroom. But with recent studies also finding that over a third (35%) of UK homeowners experience buyer’s remorse when it comes to undertaking such major home improvements, independent retailers are likely to see a big increase in consumers looking to take advantage of the benefits of the latest 4D design software before making any commitment.

Immersive virtual reality (VR), such as Virtual Worlds’ 4D Theatre, features real-time photo rendering, surround sound, voice commands and product interaction, enabling the user to experience what it would really be like to stand, and use, their new kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.

Giving the user a real sense of spatial awareness, the specially-designed headset enables them to virtually jump into the design, walk around the room and interact by opening drawers and cupboards, just like they would in real life.

“Virtual Worlds 4D Theatre gives consumers peace of mind, with information at their fingertips to ensure they have an informed decision throughout the design process” comments Nathan Maclean, Managing Director of Virtual Worlds. “Putting an end to buyer’s remorse, this technology will no doubt help with any changes UK homeowners wish to undertake during National Home Improvement Month.”
