A unique cabin full of character from Lundhs Real Stone

A visual masterpiece set within the Norwegian forest, this cabin in Oslo draws on the beauty of natural materials to bring a modern, structural space to life.

Working closely with architects Lund Hagem, Lundhs Real Stone in the form of Lundhs Antique and Lundhs Royal graces the kitchen and bathroom surfaces of this unique property.

Designed by A-FORM, the kitchen has been constructed from solid oak wood with a thin Lundhs Antique worktop in a matte finish. The homeowners wanted the aesthetics and feel to be in harmony with the architecture of the cabin, and through close dialogue with the customer, the kitchen was designed with a simple and clean look with durable materials. Of the utmost importance was that the surfaces were of high quality and that they connected with the stunning design of the structure, as well as with its surrounding nature. Unique in its appearance and its formation, Lundhs Antique was the ideal choice to complement the solid oak cabinetry and details.

A well-thought-out connection with carefully selected surfaces and material choices throughout the entire project ensures a cohesion between different spaces, leading to seamless zoning of the kitchen, bathroom, rooms and living areas.

From the warming tones of the natural Lundhs Antique stone in the kitchen to the refreshing glints of the Lundhs Royal countertop in the icy blue bathroom, the overall finish of the project is a perfect example of how contemporary architecture and unique, natural materials can combine to deliver an exquisite living space.
