The BORA X Pure stands out with its unique design elements. A new air inlet nozzle with a pin design and a circular opening distinguishes it from previous models and competitors. The updated model also offers two finishes: a high-gloss glass ceramic version and a more matte surface, the latter—BORA X Pure Rough—conceals fingerprints and streaks while providing a stable base for cookware.
The redesigned sControl+ slider is a key highlight. It changes colour during use, providing clear guidance: blue indicates fan and extraction settings, red shows the temperature for individual cooktops, and white remains neutral. A major upgrade is the introduction of BORA Assist. This feature helps users achieve perfect cooking results by adjusting power levels. Unlike previous models with fixed power values, BORA X Pure lets users set their target temperature. For instance, the ‘Fry’ Assist function manages energy flow, beeping when the ideal temperature is reached for frying, preventing overheating and preserving both food and cookware.
The ‘Boil’ Assist function is another innovative feature. It detects when water in a BORA Pots and Pans Assist pot reaches boiling point, automatically switching off the heat and eliminating the need for a separate kettle.
When paired with the BORA Pots and Pans Assist range, the full potential of BORA Assist is unlocked. These specially designed cookware items work seamlessly with the BORA X Pure and the BORA JOY app to ensure precise cooking. Users can easily sync the app with the cooktop, allowing automatic control of temperature, cooking time, and end of cooking, based on the selected recipe. For those who prefer not to use their smartphone constantly, favourite programs can be saved directly on the cooktop for easy access.
