Cairn hits £1 million milestone

Specialist home interest agency Cairn has hit £1 million in revenue after its first year in business.

Thanks to both organic account growth and new client wins spanning the KBB sector and beyond, the business has experienced impressive expansion, relocated to new premises and welcomed a trio of new hires since opening its doors in 2023.

New briefs include a brand repositioning and multi-channel launch campaign for InSinkErator and digital strategy development and social campaign delivery for Bathrooms to Love.

In addition to this, the agency has seen significant growth by expanding their offering to existing clients, including national kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus and leading furniture componentry producer Blum.

Will English, Cairn’s co-founder and managing director said: “We have achieved so much since we opened our doors last year. We have solidified our position as the go-to agency in the homes and garden and KBB sectors by delivering some exceptional work for all our clients. We’ve even scooped a couple of awards along the way – testament to the progress we’re making.

“At Cairn, we count ourselves lucky to work with fantastic businesses who trust us. We believe if you do great work, more will follow, so we’re delighted that much of our success has come from clients choosing to expand our remit. It is the best vote of confidence for our team.”

Three new staff members have joined the agency ranks in the last year, including senior account managers Amy Alexander and Bethan Davies, and account manager Charlotte Booker.

Creative director and fellow founder Andy Wood added: “It’s been a fantastic first year for us. As well as getting under the skin of many new brand challenges, we’ve been able to build a team of creative, talented and genuinely lovely people that our clients are excited to work with.  This is crucial for us as we want to retain our culture as we grow.

“We also now have an inspiring new office space, which is much more reflective of our business, so we are ready and raring to see what our second year will bring.”

Cairn offers strategic brand planning and channel-spanning creative comms, delivered by a team of activation specialists across digital, off-line, PR and web design and development.

Now based in Stamford House in Sale, Cairn’s purpose is to ‘take brands further’, whether that’s scale-ups focused on the next phase of growth, established brands pursuing new opportunities or businesses simply seeking a fresh approach to their communications.
