Domestic appliance specialist, Candy, has launched its first fridge freezer to feature innovative smart food management technology. 

Designed to complement fast-paced lifestyles, the Candy Bell’Ó fridge freezer uses WiFi connectivity to manage expiry dates on food inside the fridge, with notifications sent to the Candy Simply-Fi app that lets you know when food use-by dates are about to expire. 

As well as the Smart food management technology, Candy Bell’Ó also features a drink cooling feature, with the app notifying you once drinks have been cooled to the perfect temperature and are ready to be served to guests. The built-in wine rack also makes light of any storage difficulties.  

Not to be outdone on the style front, Candy has invested considerably in the aesthetics of the Bell’Ó, with a smart Italian design and finished with only the best materials. Attractive newly designed doors and integrated handles gives the product a softer appearance along with a better grip. 

Candy has also considered how best to maximise the space available inside the fridge, with removable and deeper shelves and adjustable door balconies so that users can store larger items and optimise the space available to best suit them. 

The Bell’Ó fridge freezer has several other features that have been designed to be eco-friendly. Eco Mode sets the fridge and freezer sections to +5oC and -18 oC respectively as these are the optimum energy-efficient conditions. Other everyday efficient features include a Holiday Mode, which switches off just the fridge section to help save on energy while you’re away.

A Super Cooling feature starts an additional pulse action for quickly cooling down the fridge compartment and is ideal for chilling food quickly after shopping.
