Carron Phoenix adds Larunda to hot water tap portfolio

Carron Phoenix has added the elegant Larunda tap to its instant hot water tap portfolio, offering 3-in-1 functionality at the highly competitive RRP of £650, backed by a two year guarantee for the tap and the tank.

The Larunda dispenses hot water at 98⁰C in addition to standard hot and cold, all from a single tap, offering the user the convenience of instant steaming hot water for a range of tasks without the need for a kettle.

Says Larah Kuziw, brand manager at Carron Phoenix: “The Larunda is an important addition to our hot water tap family. It has been developed to dispense 98⁰C steaming hot water, which eliminates the need for the pressurised water tanks required to deliver full 100⁰C boiling water for models such as our Seraphina 3-in-1 tap. This has allowed us to bring it to market at a very competitive price point and with an extended choice of models with different functionality, we aim to appeal to a much wider range of customers.”

The Chrome tap features a classic swan-neck design to suit a wide range of kitchen styles and is a striking 385mm high, with a spout reach of 220mm. Safety features include a push-and-twist operation to guard against accidental steaming hot water activation, and a cool-touch spout.

The easy-to-install Larunda is reversible so the steaming hot water control can be fitted on either the right or left hand side to suit the user. The tap can be retrofitted into an existing sink, requiring a standard 35mm tap hole.

Its 2.4 litre tank fits neatly in the cupboard under the sink. It incorporates a water conditioning filter to reduce chlorine and limescale and to protect against sediment build-up to ensure optimum performance. Replacement filters are simple to self-fit.
