Design Hub

Design Hub helps retailers

Virtual Worlds is launching Design Hub to help retailers overcome missed opportunities at a time when face to face contact is not possible.

The Design Hub will offer a bathroom and kitchen design service for retail showrooms. Whether it is a temporary need for extra design skills to support you through illness or holiday leave, a stop-gap to give you some breathing room while you grow your business or if you are not quite at the point of hiring a new designer on a full-time basis, The Hub has you covered.

The Design Hub is being led by Head Designer Lauren Sutton, who has 13 years’ experience in the kbb industry, having worked in various roles across retail, distribution and manufacturing. The former RAK Ceramics Marketing Manager, says: “I’ve designed customer’s bathrooms and kitchens for a number of years but my passion is designing retail showrooms both physical and in the virtual space. Virtual Worlds has been a key tool for me to communicate my ideas to customers and create solutions that are both functional and beautiful.”

Explaining the thinking behind The Design Hub, Lauren comments: “We feel it is going to be an essential service during the current challenging situation for retail showrooms when their designer is unable to provide customers with the designs. The Hub will help showrooms reduce the risk of losing sales while continuing to provide a quality service.

Exciting future plans to improve the connectivity between the consumer, showroom designer, installer and manufacturers, The Design Hub aims to support and drive leads into retail showrooms.

The Design Hub launches on 1st April, with retailers carrying a Virtual Worlds license eligible for a loyalty discount and retailers who are new to Virtual Worlds also welcome.
