Mistral Karonia Kitchens Review

MISTRAL marble-inspired decors

Reaction to the four new additions to the MISTRAL 25mm solid surface worktop range introduced at KBB 2018 has been extremely enthusiastic, with the two marble-inspired decors drawing the most attention.

At the launch, Karonia director Andrew Pickup described the context to their development “In surfaces, we have seen sustained demand for marble-look products as well as numerous shades of grey, done particularly well in quartz-based products. Our latest developments deliver this with the seamless joints and limitless possibilities of  our solid surface material.”

The new colours are:

ARIA – a sparkling white base with a classic, marble-inspired vein subtly woven throughout.

MOONSCAPE – a captivating mix of concrete grey and sparkling white  that creates swirls of both and all the shades in between.

CAPPIO – a concentrated burst of mid to deep brown particles on a silvery-grey background with a hint of sparkle.

MANUKA – a subtle blend of honey-coloured, natural and pearlescent  chips on a warm white base.

Andrew Pickup continues “The new Mistral colours are proving to be great additions to the palettes of designers, working well with a host of room décor colour choices as well as being fantastic statement pieces in their own right.”
