Bringing the very best of New Zealand to KBB Birmingham this year, Fisher & Paykel’s immersive stand (created by three up-and-coming New Zealand designers) will showcase the brand’s latest appliances, delicious tasters, and a special guest appearance from adventurer Ben Fogle.

“This year, our number one priority is kitchen studios and independent KBB retailers, and this will be reflected in the innovation and level of investment at KBB 2020. Our stand design this year will really set the bar in immersive design. It’s going to incorporate a beautiful backdrop inspired by the fresh and green landscape of New Zealand in which we will display our gorgeous new column refrigeration and touch screen ovens. We are also delighted to welcome a long-time friend of F&P, Ben Fogle who will open the show on Monday 2rd March with a captivating talk on his travels around New Zealand and his affinity with our brand which strives to be the most human centred appliance brand in the world,” says Helen Haider, Head of Marketing at Fisher & Paykel.

“For us, the show is about reconnecting with our current KBB partners and providing a platform for new studios who are yet to discover our innovations and design philosophy at the premium end of the market.”

Ben Fogle, award-winning broadcaster and adventurer will be speaking to visitors of the stand to talk about his experience with Fisher & Paykel’s appliances and the similarities between his adventurous self and the pioneering spirit of the brand. Fisher & Paykel will be offering Kawakawa tea to visitors as part of the New Zealand and Social Kitchen experience.

Stars of the stand include stunning column refrigeration and touch screen ovens. Sleek and sophisticated, column refrigeration has been designed using unique Fisher & Paykel technology to provide modular flexibility. The Variable Temperature Zone enables the user to switch between Fridge, Pantry and Chill modes in the fridge, and Freeze, Soft Freeze and Deep Freeze modes in the freezer – this is achieved simply at the touch of a button.

The touch screen oven provides an intuitive guided cooking experience that helps deliver perfect results. Cook with a favourite method, a hero ingredient or a go-to cooking function or recipe. The oven presents three main options: Cook by Function, Cook by Food Type and Cook by Recipe. The touchscreen interface provides full guidance of the recipe including the method, ingredients and shelf position.

What else to expect from Fisher & Paykel at KBB2020
The world’s first dishwasher in a drawer, designed to make cleaning in the kitchen easier, will be showcased at KBB 2020 in its new black steel styling. While a conventional dishwasher requires a lot of bending while loading and unloading, the DishDrawer™ eliminates this discomfort with its unique ergonomic design which allows the drawer to easily slide open and closed at waist height. Featuring 15 different wash programs, the DishDrawer™ boasts the ability to wash everything from fine glass and crystal to heavily soiled pans at the touch of a button. The eco option minimises water and energy usage and uses less water than when washing up in a sink. Each drawer holds a true half load for small, fast dish washing that won’t waste water and both drawers can run independently from one another.
