Fisher & Paykel unveils its first Freestanding Range Cooker with Induction Cooktop

Fisher & Paykel’s first Freestanding Range Cooker with Induction cooktop pairs a large capacity convection oven with induction cooking hob technology.

The Freestanding Range Cooker features a range of intuitive functions with ten functions on the oven alone, including Rotisserie.

The 140L capacity oven gives customers plenty of space to cook multiple dishes at once and is complemented by the induction hob which caters for very high to very low heats, meaning users can sear, sauté, and even flambé like a professional.

Jo Jackson, Product Manager, Fisher & Paykel comments, “Recently, we have seen an increase in demand for induction style cooking as a result of its unrivalled accuracy, immediacy and safety features. Range cookers are consistently desirable for their versatility, with a much larger capacity than standard built-in ovens and the flexibility to cook multiple dishes at once. However, until now our customers have been unable to combine these options and so we are delighted to debut an appliance that elegantly pairs these popular appliances and delivers unparalleled versatility and results for those who love to cook.”

Simple to use dials and five cooking zones – that can be combined to form SmartZones – means customers can use the size of cookware that suits their needs.

With induction cooking, superior efficiency means that less heat is wasted; as only the cookware is heated, induction hobs are more energy-efficient than their electric or gas-powered counterparts.

Ten functions

The range cooker’s ten oven functions include Bake, Fan Bake, Fan Forced, Fan Grill, Grill, Pastry Bake with Pizza mode, Rapid Proof for bread making, Roast, Rotisserie and True Convection. So, no matter what you want to cook, you can depend on the right heat and cooking style to match. F

Fisher & Paykel’s AeroTech™ system circulates air evenly throughout the entire oven so dishes on the bottom shelf turn out just as perfectly as food cooked on the top shelf. The automatic rapid pre-heat function means that, from unexpected guests to a rushed evening meal, you can have dinner served in a flash.

Safe

Safety is in-build with non-tip full-extension shelves for safe removal of hot dishes, an advanced cooling system with a quadruple glazed CoolTouch door, and a child lock feature. Induction cooktops are the number one choice when it comes to safety as they heat only the cookware, not the hob surface itself, so you won’t have to worry about little wandering hands or accidentally leaving a zone on.

Easy to clean

The pyrolytic self-cleaning oven cycle breaks down food residue, the flat glass surface is easy to clean, and acid resistant graphite enamel means that oven-cleaning is no longer the arduous task that we tend to put off. The hob simply needs a gentle wipe to remove spillages and keep it looking as good as new and the pyrolytic self-clean oven cycle leaves only a light ash that can be removed easily with a damp cloth.

Alongside Fisher & Paykel’s beautiful line of appliances, the Freestanding Range Cooker with Induction Cooktop is available in contemporary styling with clean lines and complementary tonal contrasts or in a classic style that combines traditional aesthetics and modern performance.
