Franke appoints two new apprentices into the business

Franke has appointed two new apprentices into the business, covering two different aspects of the company. Max Girdwood has been taken on as a marketing apprentice and Audley Key as a warehousing apprentice.

Max (pictured top) will be completing his L4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship over the next 18 months and at the end of the qualification will be awarded a CIM Certificate in Marketing.

Max comments “I chose this apprenticeship as I realised that I had the wide range of skills and experience that the marketing team at Franke UK were looking for. The main reason I applied to the apprenticeship with Franke was because of the career development opportunities that this role will offer me. I am looking forward to working with experienced professionals in a very prestigious business. After completing my qualification, I hope to stay with the wonderful team at Franke and become an important asset in the marketing team.”

Audley, who has joined as a warehousing apprentice completing his Level 2 Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship says “As I have previous experience in the logistics industry, I felt that I would be a valuable member of the team here at central services. I am hoping that within a few years I will have progressed on from my apprenticeship role and gained more responsibility within the team.”

Franke is committed to offering talented and ambitious young people career development opportunities. Over a number of years, Franke has successfully supported many apprentices, interns and work experience students who have gone on to become integral members of the team.

Jo Rawston, sales and marketing director at Franke says:

“We are delighted to have Max and Audley join the team and undertake their apprenticeships with Franke. We feel that apprentices are an important asset to the business as they bring in fresh new ideas and enthusiasm to their roles. We also feel it is great to be able to provide young people with the opportunity to start their career and earn a wage, whilst gaining their qualifications.”
