Franke portfolio demostrates colours & textures

At KBB, Franke UK unveiled its 2018 portfolio of new products including premium stainless steel worksurfaces, four unique “super metallic” Fragranite colours, two grey ceramics, six new sink ranges, seven new taps including a new electronic 4-in-1 style, four new brassware finishes and five stylish hoods, stamping its mark for on-point design and quality in the mid to high-end of the market. This adds a total of 95 new products to the Franke portfolio.

Says Neil Clark, managing director of Franke UK:

“Our new portfolio for 2018 expresses Franke’s commitment to serve our UK customer base with high quality, well designed products that make being in the kitchen a pleasurable experience. We’ve looked at global and local trends, listened to market feedback and made sure that our offering is stylish and on-point. There’s a clear trend towards texture and colour, mixing different layers together in the kitchen and we’ve interpreted this widely across our new products. There’s a major expansion of granite sinks in new styles and four unique super metallics, plus two new grey colours for ceramics. In stainless steel, we have beautiful premium worksurfaces and modular elements, a fashionable matt finish on the new Maris Bowl sink range, together with innovative fabric for hoods and an array of new coloured finishes and tap styles which strongly complement our sink offer.”

Franke’s stunning new range of stainless steel worksurfaces are due for launch in quarter 3 and were previewed on the stand. Beautiful and durable, the range features classic stainless steel as well as a high quality Pearl Finish, exclusive to Franke, that prevents finger and water-marks to keep them looking pristine at all times. Available in a choice of desirable thicknesses and finishes, Franke stainless steel worksurfaces can be combined with a choice of sinks and taps and a number of other accessories to create a high end and bespoke kitchen.

Franke also launched three new hoods at the show: Impress, Mythos ceiling and Atmos, demonstrating the company’s focus on technology, innovation and design.

Another highlight was Franke’s new Minerva Mondial style tap in solid stainless steel in an electronic version. Digitally controlled with simple push-button functionality, it has pre-set 30 and 60 second programmes that are ideal for filling pans, teapots, cafetières and jugs with instant filtered boiling or filtered cold water. Designed to offer fast and intuitive access to the four water options, a separate electronic dial dispenses the instant filtered 100⁰C filtered boiling and filtered cold water, while standard mains hot and cold are operated by a single lever.

Concludes Neil Clark:

“We have an exciting year ahead with initiatives, promotions and new products for our retailers. Our focus is on being a strong and supportive partner with innovative, trusted products, as well as delivering premier service and after-care. In the UK we have the Franke, Carron Phoenix and now the KWC brand which allows us to span the market from entry-level to luxury. They are a trio of brands that complement each other perfectly and assure retailers and consumers in different segments of a purchase well made.”
