The UK home building, renovation and improvement event is making a return to London for the first time since May 2019. Hosted by TV presenter and design guru Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Live will run over nine days from 30 April – 8 May 2022.
New for 2022 is the 2000 sqm Green Zone, an area dedicated to showcasing eco-friendly products and services such as eco-building materials, insulation, heating and renewable systems, furnishings, and electric car-charging equipment. The Green Zone Theatre and Advice Hub are devoted to issues surrounding sustainability with talks and panel discussions from experts on topics such as how to plan an eco-build or refit a house, as well as get advice tailored to your project.
The Grand Theatre platform will be hosted by Kevin McCloud, Kunle Barker and various Grand Designers. The Room Sets are also billed to return, created for designers to display solutions to interior design challenges set by the organisers of the show. Finally,
The Upcycling Hub is the place to find designers who are experts in turning objects and materials into beautiful furniture. Visitors will be able to buy or commission handmade pieces, as well as gain an insight into their craft through live demonstrations.
With the dedicated Build, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Gardens and Interiors sections, there is more to look forward to than ever before at Grand Designs Live in 2022.
