Two of Abode’s latest products, Hex and Matrix have been chosen by the design team from George Clarke’s Old House, New Home, appearing on prime time national TV as part of a dramatic property makeover.
The final episode of series 4 of the Channel 4 show sees architect and TV personality George Clarke focus on the design dilemmas faced when trying to achieve a modern look in a period home, proving that it is possible to create a perfect blend of old and new.
Meeting this brief perfectly, the Abode Hex single lever pull-out tap in a brushed nickel finish was chosen to play a key part of the kitchen re-design. Teamed with the stunning undermount Matrix GR15 sink in white granite, a classic look in keeping with the age of the property is achieved, but with all practical features needed to suit a modern lifestyle.
The Hex tap is designed to challenge traditional concepts and make the ultimate statement, featuring distinctive industrial elements to co-ordinate effortlessly with the kitchen of today. The perfect partner, the granite Matrix SQ GR15 Large Main Bowl makes light work of soaking dishes, pots and pans and with its smooth lines and pure angles is a centre piece in this Margate kitchen.
“We were delighted to work with the design team at Amazing Productions to provide products for this property makeover,” comments Abode Marketing Manager Leanne Adamson. “The Hex tap and Matrix granite sink are proof that unique product designs have their place in a variety of settings, helping achieve just the right mix of old and new that George Clarke and his team were looking for.”
