Leading appliances manufacturer Hisense has launched three new refrigeration models into the KitchenFit range, which aims to utilise and maximise space within the kitchen and optimise food freshness in one.
The launches come hot off the heels of the American-style KitchenFit fridge freezer range, which launched earlier this year and echoes the benefits of any freestanding product whilst also achieving an integrated look and feel.
Designed to seamlessly integrate into the kitchen without the traditional protrusion, Hisense introduces the sleek RB5K330GSFC Combi model to the market, which includes both fridge and freezer compartments. Hisense also presents the FT5K310GSFC fridge model and the RL5K370GSFC freezer model, so households can benefit from a range of model options.
With a shallower 60cm depth and the requirement of only 3mm each side of the appliance, the new KitchenFit models truly maximise space whilst providing an impressive capacity of 330L. KitchenFit also features innovative hinge technology, meaning consumers can open the door to 103 degrees, capitalising on the smaller 3mm surrounding gap and 5mm on the top, adding to the discretely integrated look.
The eclipse dark interior acts as an antibacterial guard, preventing bacteria growth and removing 99.999% of bacteria, keeping the inside hygienically germ-free whilst adding a more modern and premium aesthetic. There is also the Total No Frost feature available on the fridge and combi models, which maintains an even temperature to keep icy build-up to a minimum whilst the clever metal-tech cooling evenly distributes cold temperatures to ensure fresh ingredients remain as good as new.
Hisense also introduces a new Underside Cooling System, which, unlike traditional rear venting machines, vents at the front of the product. Drawing cool air in and circulating warm air out, this function contributes to the KitchenFit proposal by reducing the space needed at the rear of the model.
Food preservation continues to be a priority in these new KitchenFit models, with the addition of a humidity control drawer that ensures the correct storage of fresh fruit and vegetables. The new 0-degree fresh box in the lower part of the fridge works as a separate zone, providing the ideal storage environment to keep foods fresher for longer and retain all key nutrients.
Using the ConnectLife app, consumers can have complete control of the KitchenFit appliance from anywhere, so the optimum temperature can be monitored and controlled.
Go-To-Market Product Marketing Manager for refrigeration at Hisense, Matthew Glynn, commented: “The new additions to the KitchenFit range are all about offering consumers greater convenience when it comes to planning and designing their kitchen space. Space optimisation in our kitchens is essential, freeing up scope for movement, preparation and cooking, creating an overall more enjoyable living experience. KitchenFit prioritises just that – delivering a clean and seamless aesthetic without compromising on capacity or kitchen space required for the integration gap.
“We know there is still a job to be done in educating the industry on the benefits of KitchenFit so that kitchen designers and manufacturers, as well as tradesmen, are offering these options to consumers. We hope that the variety we offer in the KitchenFit range is the start of more space optimisation in the refrigeration category.”
