Kitchens Review InSinkErator Barcelona Design Wee

InSinkErator to exhibit at Barcelona Design Week for the first time

InSinkErator, a leading expert in food waste disposal and instant hot water taps is set to make its debut at Barcelona Design Week this October. The brand will showcase its 4N1 Touch and 3N1 taps, now available in a stylish Brushed Copper finish.

The theme for this year’s event is “Design for Human Future,” with a focus on water. It aims to highlight how design and creativity, applied with awareness, can be vital tools in tackling the global challenge of water management and conservation. Visitors can explore these ideas through installations, workshops, exhibitions, talks, and tours, including the Listone Giordano event at the Interni Onesti Barcelona space.

At this venue, InSinkErator will display its 4N1 Touch tap, which promotes water efficiency through cutting-edge technology. The 4N1 Touch reduces the need for multiple kitchen fixtures, including taps, kettles, and water filter jugs, offering a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic bottles. This innovation not only declutters kitchens but also contributes to reducing plastic waste. Barcelona Design Week attendees will have the chance to explore this and other InSinkErator products, thanks to the brand’s collaboration with Spanish distributor DAKE and renowned showroom Listone Giordano.

The 4N1 Touch, available in three shapes, is an all-in-one tap that provides instant filtered cold water, filtered steaming hot water, and standard hot and cold water—all controlled by a unique touch button. The versatile tap can also be paired with the InSinkErator NeoChiller, which instantly dispenses refrigerated, filtered water. Ideal for warmer climates, the NeoChiller ensures chilled refreshment is always at hand.

This year, both the 4N1 and 3N1 taps are offered in a Brushed Copper finish, delivering a warm and elegant look with a timeless texture.

Anne Kaarlela, Marketing Communications and Customer Service Manager, Europe, explained the decision to exhibit at Barcelona Design Week: “It’s important for us to connect with design professionals, industry leaders, and design enthusiasts in a place that fosters creativity and innovation. We’re excited to collaborate with our longstanding partners at Listone Giordano, with whom we’ve enjoyed a great relationship for some time.

“In Barcelona this year, we look forward to meeting new people and showcasing why InSinkErator products should be specified in design projects. The event’s focus on water in the context of design for the future resonated strongly with us.”

Anne continued: “We believe we can demonstrate to a wider audience how our products can be transformative in water conservation. Our taps, which eliminate the need for plastic water bottles, have long-term benefits, and features like the NeoChiller are invaluable in warmer regions. Our partnership with Listone Giordano at Interni Onesti will help highlight this and much more.”

Aleix Oromi, Country Manager Spain for Listone Giordano and head of the Interni Onesti Barcelona showroom, added: “We’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with InSinkErator and are excited to feature their latest taps in our space.

“The products, alongside the brand’s renowned food waste disposers, are both technologically advanced and elegantly designed. At an event like Barcelona Design Week, a brand conscious of sustainable design, such as Listone Giordano, fits perfectly. The 4N1 Touch tap will remain in our showroom after the event, promoting water efficiency and conservation.”

InSinkErator recently launched the ‘It’s This Easy’ campaign in the UK, highlighting the simplicity of its products and how they ease kitchen tasks. For more information ahead of Barcelona Design Week, please visit https://insinkerator.emerson.com/en-gb or call 0800 389 3715
