kbb Birmingham focus: kitchen trends

kbb Birmingham is fast approaching and will return to the NEC from 1-4 March 2020. This year’s kitchen exhibitors will be showcasing a huge range of innovative kitchen trends and products delivering more inspiration than ever before, with over 184 kitchen brands exhibiting.

“Our kitchen exhibitor line-up of leading global brands will ensure that kbb Birmingham remains the place for visitors to discover cutting-edge product design and to learn about the latest trends in the sector, such as the trend for personalisation to create a kitchen that’s tailored to individual preferences,” comments Mark Gordon, Director, kbb Birmingham. “We are delighted to be welcoming back long-standing partners as well as introducing some exciting new names from the kitchen sector to the show this year, such as Quooker and makers of pre-built compact kitchens, Elfin Kitchens. The event will offer visitors multiple layers of inspiration, from contemporary kitchen designs to sophisticated new surfaces and materials, and outstanding product innovations.”

Some of the exhibitor highlights to look forward to from the kitchen sector include:

BLANCO UK’s Smart Tap Collection will be exhibiting on stand L100. This versatile range includes a filter tap, a sensor tap, a volume measurement tap and a hot tap. There will also be an exciting demonstration where visitors will learn how to maintain and clean select BLANCO UK products, including a SILGRANIT sink.

Premium appliance manufacturer FISHER PAYKEL sells a range of white goods from ovens to column refrigerators. Known for their innovative products, the brand will be showcasing their iconic DishDrawer™ dishwasher and launching their quad door free-standing fridge-freezer, a wine column and a new range of touch screen steam ovens and all black induction hobs. Other products on display on stand H82 will be their range of built-in fridge freezers and new all black steel kitchen set.

FRANKE will be showcasing an exciting range of products at kbb Birmingham which include new sinks, taps and highlights from its updated cooker hoods portfolio which features 40 new models. These include the Maris Free hood – a nature inspired hood by Dror Benshetrit which features an Italian hand-made metallic finish with the rippled lines done by hand, making each hood completely unique.

Also on show will be Franke’s Vital Capsule Filter tap which features patented technology that sets a new global standard for filtered tap water. The triple filter process removes 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, at the same time retaining all beneficial minerals such as magnesium and calcium, signalling a new generation of filter tap. Visit them on stand H80.

“Germany’s favourite kitchen brand” NOLTE KÜCHEN will be presenting a cross-section of their 2020 innovations, which will be showcased in the UK for the first time on Stand N90. The 2020 collection has almost 200 front variations, not including the handleless options. There are numerous ways to customise these kitchens, both inside the units and out, and thanks to a large choice of original materials that are complemented by realistic decors as alternatives, on-trend kitchens can be realised on all budget levels.

Personalisation and individuality are key themes of kbb Birmingham 2020 and the event will offer several layers of inspiration; from tips on creating a functional space that reflects its intended use, to ideas and materials that represent an individual’s personal beliefs.

kbb Birmingham 2020 will feature over 400 exhibitors and expects an audience of over 15,500 visitors, throughout the four-day event. An ideal place to network with industry peers and senior decision makers, the event will feature the latest and most innovative solutions for the KBB sector.
