KBBG announces speakers for its Annual Meeting

The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) is holding its 2024 Annual Members’ Meeting on Monday 10th June at the National Space Centre in Leicester.

Preparations are underway for the innovative conference in the UK’s largest planetarium, and KBBG can now reveal its guest speakers for the day:

Alex Rollinger, senior marketing & operations executive and Neil Metcalf, sales director, ArtiCAD – as the headline sponsor for the 2024 Annual Members’ Meeting, leading software company ArtiCAD is set to unveil its latest innovation: UltraHD rendering. This groundbreaking feature delivers unparalleled clarity and realism, achieved in a fraction of the time, which is simply breathtaking. Additionally, ArtiCAD will explore the future of KBB technologies, highlighting the transformative potential of AI – not only within their software but also in revolutionising the entire sales process for KBB retailing.

Anthony Sant, joint managing director, Swift – Anthony will be providing an update on the latest WEEE regulations. Reducing the amount of waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and decreasing the amount being incinerated or sent to landfill sites is an important practise for retailers. Anthony will be providing guidance for independent kitchen retailers on how to navigate the latest regulations.

Will Francis, social media expert – as a key member of the team at the pioneering social network MySpace, Will has been involved in ‘social media’ since before the term existed. Will now shares his knowledge through training, consultancy and keynote speeches in-house for global brands and at conferences. Having worked closely with the KBBG, providing two webinar sessions focused on social media for the group, members now have the chance to learn from Will in-person. His keynote speech will focus on social media trends, tips and tools, plus how to use video and AI to enhance KBBG members’ businesses.

Bill Miller, managing director, KBBG, says: “With the National Space Centre as our venue, it was only right that this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting encompasses a futuristic theme. Each of our speakers will provide our members with key information to help future-proof their businesses. There will also be updates from myself, and the DER KREIS team, covering the success of the group, plus our latest projects and initiatives, alongside plenty of networking opportunities throughout the day.”

Alex Rollinger, ArtiCAD, adds: “Following the success of exhibiting at last year’s event at Silverstone, we’re excited to return as headline sponsors for the 2024 Annual Members’ Meeting! At ArtiCAD, we’re constantly seeking opportunities to connect with our industry and this event is a perfect platform for us to demonstrate our dedication to innovation and technology-driven solutions. Whilst AI may seem daunting to many, our presentation will highlight its potential for optimisation rather than a robot takeover!”

In addition to the inspiring speakers, the Annual Members’ Meeting will host the group’s suppliers in the National Space Centre’s exhibition hub. With more suppliers than ever signed up to exhibit, KBBG members will benefit from exclusive offers and be able to discuss new opportunities for their businesses.

KBBG members can register to attend using the link in their invitation. If you are an independent kitchen/bathroom specialist and not a member of the KBBG, call Bill Miller on 07887 247811 or email b.miller@derkreis.co.uk for more information or to enquire about joining the buying group.
