KBSA confirms retailers can stay open

KBSA boosts membership with three new members

The Kbsa has boosted its membership with three new retailers this month, bringing the total for January to seven new members.

The members include; Bauen Design  in Glasgow, Vesta Space Ltd in the West Midlands  and Alon Interiors  in Kent, with three showrooms, two under the Alon Interiors brand and one under Swans of Gravesend.

Bauen Design offers luxury kitchens from Poggenpohl, Vesta Space provides fitted wardrobes to the domestic and commercial market and Alon Interiors offers kitchens and bathrooms, with Swans of Gravesend offering kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Sarah Reeve-Daly, owner at Alon Interiors said, “We are pleased to have been approved for membership of the Kbsa.  It will be great to have the added benefits to offer the consumer and give them the confidence to ‘keep it local’, in particular by offering the deposit protection scheme. We believe this will help the consumer overcome any reservations about using an independent, especially during these uncertain times.”

Kbsa national chair Richard Hibbert said, “I am delighted that membership growth has started so strong in 2021.    We remain committed to working on behalf of the independent sector, protecting their interests and helping them make the most of future opportunities.”
