Keller opens new Inspiration Centre at Netherlands headquarters

Keller and parent group, DKG, have opened a stunning new Inspiration Centre at the Bergen op Zoom headquarters in the Netherlands. The UK team looks forward to receiving guests from the UK in the not too distant future as travel becomes easier. Stable brands Keller and Brunyzeel are showcased to perfection with clear and precise Dutch differentiation.

The single-storey building at the entrance to the factory is a perfect blend of a large number of full-sized kitchen displays which are dressed to impress. These merge with hospitality/break-out areas for meetings and presentations; or a coffee and a chat. Beyond the “real” kitchen displays, there are numerous concept zones including sample and mood board areas which display palette inspiration for creative souls.

For developers, architects and designers, the mock-ups of full apartments and kitchen/living areas offer inspiration for their own bespoke creations.

Tim Spann, Keller’s UK National Sales Manager, comments, “The Inspiration Centre will be an ever-evolving space as new kitchen concepts are launched in this idyllic environment for selling the kitchen dream.”

On entering the first kitchen that visitors will see is the Circo, a fully circular kitchen. Circo is a concept kitchen which takes a look into the future of truly and wholly sustainable kitchens. This area features kitchen units and tops made from a fully recyclable material developed by DKG working in tandem with Amsterdam University.

A true first is that the kitchen is also bio-degradable – as a last resort if the after-life route was chosen as opposed to recycling panels etc to make another kitchen or any piece of furniture for that matter.

Tim concludes, “All in all, the centre offers an excellent glimpse into the future of kitchens from Keller, the world leaders in sustainable manufacturing for kitchens.”
