Neolith is finalist in SBID International Design Awards 2024

Neolith Calacatta Roma finish, inspired by the timeless elegance of Ancient Rome’s Carrara marble, has been awarded Architectural Digest’s 2024 Great Design Award. Featuring distinctive grey and ochre veins on a white backdrop, this sintered stone finish offers a luxurious yet practical choice for high-end interiors.

“Neolith is delighted to be announced as a finalist for the SBID Award. This recognition underscores our company’s unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainability. Our dedication to producing high-quality, environmentally friendly surfaces empowers interior designers to realize their most ambitious projects. We are proud to be at the forefront of the industry, continuously pushing the boundaries of design while providing exceptional materials to our clients.”, comments Ross Stewart, UK Senior Sales Manager for Neolith UK.

Sintered Stone Durability and Versatility

Neolith’s surfaces, produced through a state-of-the-art process involving extreme heat and pressure, are renowned for their durability. The material is resistant to heat, scratches, stains, and UV radiation and is ideal for various applications, from kitchen worktops to bathroom cladding. Its non-porous and hygienic properties also ensure minimal maintenance, requiring only mild soap and water for cleaning.

Sustainability and Innovation

Neolith’s commitment to sustainability is evident, having achieved carbon neutrality in 2019. The company recycles all industrial water used in production, and 100% of its electricity comes from renewable sources. Additionally, Neolith’s surfaces have the market’s lowest crystalline silica content, enhancing safety and environmental responsibility.

Further cementing its status in the design world, Neolith is set to be honoured at the SBID International Design Awards 2024, a premier event recognising excellence in interior design. Winners will be celebrated at the Royal Lancaster London ceremony, where they will receive the coveted SBID trophy.
