Paul Tyler steps down as CEO of CIH

Combined Independents (Holdings) Ltd (CIH), part of Euronics, Europe’s largest electrical buying organisation, has announced that CEO, Paul Tyler will be stepping down from the position from the4th April 2025.  

Paul joined CIH in January 2022 as CEO and has worked tirelessly for the last three years to deliver exceptional support to members. Following a long and successful career with BSH, Miele, and 10 years working as an independent electrical retailer, Paul’s industry knowledge and passion for independent retailers has always been what has driven his career and has been witnessed in his role as CEO of CIH.  

Commenting on the announcement, CIH Chairman, Steve Scogings, said, “In only three years, Paul has made a significant difference to the business and has instilled a fantastic team ethic within the staff of CIH. He has overseen a revolution in our website and marketplace offering, created a new team dedicated to supporting members and introduced exciting new partnerships with Fair For You and Trust Power. His understanding and support in what we do as members has allowed us to achieve industry recognition with Which? and Feefo. Paul has always been a total professional in his extensive career and will continue to support CIH until April next year to complete current projects.”

During Paul’s tenure, CIH has worked with the team to create a distinctive Euronics brand voice. The Euronics Way is characterised by clarity, authenticity, and customer-centric values. The business is dedicated to serving local communities, building a deeper connection with customers and fostering trust and loyalty. New product categories have been added to the portfolio and the CIH Showcase event has continued to grow through the hard work and dedication of Paul and the CIH team.
