Promotions for GROHE training team

Former GROHE Field Service & Technical Manager Adam Logan (pictured below) has been promoted to the role of Training Manager for the UK following 5 years of service for the kitchens and bathrooms sanitaryware brand. In his new role, Adam will be responsible for internal and external training of company stakeholders, overseeing  GROHE‘s annual Truck Tour – an immersive mobile showroom which visits key consumer and trade events throughout the year – and managing its UK plumbing schools, a new international programme GROHE will be implementing across Europe to invest in the next generation of plumbers.

On the promotion, Adam Logan comments “Both my time as an installer and as Field Service & Technical Manager at GROHE has provided me with extensive and invaluable product and industry knowledge. I am looking forward to returning to a hands on role, using my previous experience to reach out to plumbers and bathroom fitters to build a growing base of trained and qualified installers, who will be specialists in installing and understanding our products. I am excited to have more contact with installers at industry events and to push our whole training plan forwards by working closely with our distributor network and new customers.”

Previous GROHE Training Manager Chris Penney (pictured top) moves to an international role in the company under the new title of HQ Trainer Plumbing Schools EMENA. Chris will be responsible for working with established charity partners and educational institutions in the field to oversee the development of plumbing schools in the EMENA region.

“Training is a top priority for GROHE and we are proud to be a world leader when it comes to working with installers,” says Raj Mistry, Marketing Director at GROHE UK.  “In 2019, we established a unique partnership with one of the leading regional vocational colleges in the country to provide training to the next generation of plumbers, and this appointment of Chris to a European role and Adam to oversee the UK further shows our ongoing commitment to training. Adam has outstanding field training and knowledge and will be a fantastic trainer for our installer partners. We as a company are currently exploring new and innovative ways to maintain our first-class standard of training through adapted online and virtual sessions and, in his newly appointed role, Adam will manage these challenging new developments with a view to ultimately make training more accessible going forward.”
