Pronorm laminate luxury worksurfaces

Pronorm launches luxury laminates for worksurfaces

Pronorm has introduced four new luxury laminate designs for their kitchen ranges and worksurfaces that respond to the maximalism trend for bold design statements created by using colours and materials.

The four laminates are Marble Carrara, Breccia Paradiso Marble, Alba Oak Black and Titan Metal. They each provide a luxury mix and match palette of marble, woodgrain and metal. The two marbles and oak finishes are available as worksurfaces in slimline 16mm, 40mm and over-size 60mm and 100mm, splashbacks, panels and as cladding for the door fronts across Pronorm’s contemporary kitchen ranges of Y-Line and X-Line handleless, the Proline 128 grid kitchen and ClassicLine. Titan metallic is not available as a worksurface, for cladding only.

Pictured is Alba Oak Black on floor to ceiling cupboards providing a dramatic backdrop to the island unit clad entirely in Breccia Paradiso Marble creating a luxurious monolithic stone centrepiece. The high definition printed marble laminate in matt texture has been used to clad the Y-Line handleless door fronts inside and out as, well as the cabinet fronts with precision-led design detail and also features as a 16mm slimline worksurface and waterfall end.

Says Gerd Meier, Pronorm’s design manager:

“Natural marbles continue as a strong design theme and our new laminates offer a realism in the print and surface texture that allows designers to use them in highly creative ways such as an impact island unit or to contrast thinner and thicker worksurfaces together as a style element within a scheme. With the current trend for maximalism centring on bold looks, contrast and colour, these four new finishes open up a lot of interesting design flexibility.”
