Having proudly partnered with the Silver X Group as its new transport provider in 2024, PWS has recently announced a brand-new, dedicated delivery fleet which will span the country. Offering a smoother and more efficient delivery service, this exciting collaboration has transformed the way PWS delivers, ensuring an exceptional service across Great Britain.
Using a new fleet of mostly 3-year-old vehicles or less, from 7.5 tonnes to 18 tonnes in size, they have been tailored to suit a wide variety of customers’ premises. These size-appropriate vehicles will not only make deliveries quicker and hassle-free but have also been designed to be fully equipped with tail lifts and pump trucks, minimising the need for assisted delivery.

Significant enhancements have been made to PWS’ delivery service to keep customers informed every step of the way. These include:
● Morning delivery updates: Customers will receive confirmation goods are out for delivery
● Real-time tracking: As the driver gets closer, customers will receive a second email with a live tracking link to monitor their progress
● Rescheduling options: In the event of a failed delivery, customers will have the flexibility to reschedule with ease
● Feedback opportunities: After the delivery has been completed, PWS will send a follow-up message to gather the customer’s feedback to ensure they’re always improving
In addition to these enhancements, PWS is thrilled to announce the opening of its new North East hub, which will be a game-changer for its delivery network. By optimising the routes and reducing transit times, this expansion will enable PWS to offer a more efficient service and, therefore, enhance the overall customer experience.

“We have implemented these updates to reflect our commitment to providing seamless delivery solutions for our customers and for their customers as well. With an advanced fleet, an improved tracking system, and a strategic new hub expansion, we are dedicated to creating a delivery experience that is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Consistently striving for improvement in all areas of the business, we will continue to develop our services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.” said Mark Stephenson, chief executive of PWS
“We are incredibly proud to have been chosen as the logistics partner for such a prominent and respected company. This contract is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as our unwavering commitment to excellence in the logistics industry,” commented Gavin Burgess, managing director of The Silver X Group.
