You may know that PWS is one of the largest distributors in the UK KBB industry. Did you also know that it is the home of one of the biggest and most innovative worksurface manufacturing facilities? With direct access to some of the biggest suppliers in Europe, PWS offers an unrivalled material range and service. All PWS worksurfaces are manufactured on-site using cutting-edge technology. Through a multi-million-pound investment, their manufacturing facilities are super efficient and are successfully continuing to improve their factory capabilities to ensure maximum quality and efficiency and, therefore, lower cost prices for customers.

Materials, details and finishing touches alone do not make an everlasting worksurface. It takes a team of experts in their field to bring together all the elements and bind them into a masterpiece that customers will be able to love and use every day for a lifetime.

Outstanding manufacturing facilities

PWS has introduced new and innovative processes that facilitate more bespoke and unique designs across its worksurface services. Now operating from a 92,000 square foot facility and having been boosted by a multi-million pound manufacturing investment, PWS’ scale and service is unmatched by other competitors. This investment in machinery and systems has delivered a more efficient process and a further 50% increase in capacity.

Market-leading safety and regulation

PWS also invests heavily in staff training, and as a trusted manufacturer, the company believes that engineered stone can be produced safely when best practices are followed. That’s why PWS fully supports and adheres to strict sector regulations, collaborating with industry experts, as well as the HSE to maintain and drive safety standards.

Two beautiful design centres

PWS has not one but two beautiful design centres, offering design inspiration at any time. Strategically located at Southern and Northern business hubs, the trade-only design centres are the best platforms for visitors to browse PWS’ abundance of stunning worksurfaces up close and at their convenience. Available to use as an extension of a customer’s own showroom, PWS welcomes and encourages visitors to show their own customers around whilst exploring hundreds of samples.

An unrivalled range

With a vast range of textures and colours and over 200 stocked materials available, the worksurfaces collection from PWS is home to a plethora of looks which will complement any design scheme, no matter the style. Customers can choose from eight thickness options, which range from 12mm to 60mm, offering complete versatility in how and where the worksurfaces are installed. Various surface finishes are also available, from honed and polished to textured and concrete, so whether a customer needs a breakfast bar, island, shelving unit or sink surround installed, there’s a worksurface to suit. PWS’ latest worksurface offering is the new Strata Ultra HD Quartz collection, consisting of the Strata Odyssey, Strata Khamsin and Strata Tempest. Mirroring the beauty, strength and high-performance properties of natural stone, these engineered stone surfaces offer an incredible depth of colour in a selection of bold patterns.

Installation takes place after 5 days by one of PWS’ accredited installation teams, who provide a guide on how to clean and care for the surface whilst also offering a 10-year material warranty in the unlikely event of any material defects.

So you thought you knew everything about PWS… but were you aware of their huge worksurface range or that they have one of the biggest worksurface manufacturing facilities in the country? Why not come and take a look for yourself? PWS hosts regular training sessions and is more than happy to organise personal tours, so please do get in touch.
