RAK Ceramics unveils new Design Hub in Milan for Design Week

RAK Ceramics, one of the leading names in ceramic manufacturing, has opened its newest Design Hub in Milan, Italy. This marks a notable expansion for the UAE-based brand, further solidifying its presence in the international design and architecture sectors.

Spanning 400 square metres, the showroom is situated in the vibrant city centre at Via Borgogna 8 and officially launches during the globally renowned Milan Design Week. Designed by the award-winning MMA Projects and supported by an investment of over €1 million, the new hub serves as a dedicated platform for interior designers and specifiers. It showcases a holistic offering across surfaces, sanitaryware, bathroom furniture, brassware, and porcelain tableware—all designed to inspire and inform.

The Milan site becomes the fourth RAK Ceramics Design Hub, joining established locations in Dubai, London, and Frankfurt. This launch reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering forward-thinking, premium-quality products that are accessible across global markets.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we bring the energy, experience and innovative spirit of RAK Ceramics to the heart of such a lively and dynamic city as Milan. The opening of our RAK Ceramics Hub represents a milestone in the story of our group and an important statement regarding the course we intend to take, that of becoming a go-to name in the design world”, said Abdallah Massaad, CEO of RAK Ceramics.

“We address designers as a Lifestyle Solution Provider, thanks to our complete and integrated product offering and global distribution: a promise that is reflected in the spaces of the new Design Hub in Milan”.

The space puts the spotlight on RAK Ceramics’ signature surface solution—Maximus slabs—mounted on a custom sliding rail system. Visitors can also interact with product displays and explore features like an 86-point light chandelier and an artistic Kludi-Asana shower centrepiece.

The upper level is designed as a collaborative area for professionals, providing space for tailored project planning. A custom-designed kitchen featuring Maximus worktops and the CookingRAK induction solution reflects the brand’s emphasis on both form and functionality. The floor also includes touch-and-feel displays for Kludi taps and a dedicated section for RAK Porcelain tableware.

The lower ground level serves as a gallery of immersive interior settings, illustrating the full versatility of RAK Ceramics’ design portfolio. Hero collections include RAK-Valet by Patrick Norguet, the Bauhaus-inspired RAK-Des, and the textured finish of RAK-Batu. A special collaboration with Elie Saab adds a luxurious dimension with exclusive surface and wellness solutions.

Present in over 150 countries, RAK Ceramics continues to be a trusted partner for global residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The new Milan Design Hub stands as a testament to the brand’s ongoing mission to empower the design community with inventive, high-performance products and bespoke project support.
