The number one French kitchen manufacturer, Schmidt, is expanding rapidly, and has just opened their 21st showroom in the UK, in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The showroom is owned by husband and wife team Adrian and Janice Tobitt, and they have employed Janice’s son Ben as well as Monika as sales and design consultants. Adrian has worked in partnership with Schmidt for nine years, bringing his detailed product knowledge to the business. Janice was an executive secretary at BP for 36 years, so also brings a wealth of business experience to the showroom.
The rigorous training from Schmidt, both in the UK and in France, means that they have hit the ground running, and have had a very successful first three months.
The recent open day was a huge success, with dignitaries like the Rt Hon Sir Michael Fallon, MP, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Sevenoaks, Councillor Roderick Hogarth and Mrs Mary Hogarth in attendance. Schmidt’s International Director, Stephane Bihler, and their showroom designer Guewen Collet joined the party, as well as a huge number of local homeowners – all interested to see this new kitchen and living interiors showroom.
There are 5 kitchen displays and 1 wardrobe display in the showroom, with the Wow kitchen and living area proving very popular with customers. With a lead time of just 8-10 weeks, now’s the time to get your kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or living area updated – all in time for a relaxed Christmas!
