TrustMark partnership with hiber gives installers access to 24/7 back-office support

Installers registered with the Licence Plus scheme from TrustMark can now price installs, order equipment and appliances, as well as handle payments seamlessly through their smartphone or tablet thanks to a new partnership with back-office support app, hiber.

With the new collaboration between the two organisations, tradespeople registered under TrustMark’s recently launched Licence Plus scheme will have full access to hiber’s back-office support as well as consumer financing options.

The Licence Plus Scheme offers a vital pathway for aiding TrustMark Registered Businesses in their adoption of whole-house retrofits focusing on fabrics first. The scheme aims to showcase installers’ competency and quality workmanship while supporting efforts towards reducing energy use to save households money and reach the UK’s Net Zero goals.

Currently, TrustMark registered businesses can join the License Plus scheme through the participating licensed scheme providers, details of which can be found on the TrustMark website.

Through TrustMark’s partnership with hiber, Licence Plus installers will have a suite of back-office support tools. This means that boiler, heat pump, and other installation projects can be priced, ordered and paid for in a streamlined process through the hiber app.

Also available via hiber is consumer finance, meaning installers can offer a variety of flexible finance options to homeowners looking to fund boiler and heat pump installations, as well as other home improvements. The increased provision of consumer finance is widely regarded as a key driver towards the Government’s goal of 600,000 heat pump installations per year by 2028 and its achievement of Net Zero.

Simon Ayers, CEO of TrustMark, said: “Through our network of Scheme Providers and associated Registered Businesses, TrustMark provides consumer confidence by ensuring that jobs are completed properly, to the highest standards and with appropriate protection. We are delighted to have hiber on board to remove some of the administrative pressure from hardworking tradespeople enabling installers to further grow their businesses.”

TrustMark is a not-for-profit social enterprise established in 2005 in conjunction with Government, industry bodies and consumer protection groups. As the only Government endorsed quality scheme in the UK covering home improvements in or around the home, TrustMark helps businesses to demonstrate their ongoing commitment to customer service, high standards and continual improvement.

Ryan Harmer, managing director of hiber, added: “We’re really excited to be supporting the Licence Plus members at TrustMark. Our goal has always been to make life easier for installers, engineers, contractors and their customers. As a Government-backed endorsement body, TrustMark has long been a standard bearer of quality in the home improvement sector and we at hiber are happy to support the organisation and its registered businesses. As we move towards Net Zero, more partnerships like this are needed. We believe that this is a significant move and that the entire home improvement sector will benefit.”
