Vitesy announces partnership with fellow Italian brand, Smeg

Well-being and health solutions brand Vitesy has announced a new partnership with internationally known household appliance company Smeg. Initiated by the two Italian companies, the collaborations see the integration of the photocatalytic technology developed by Vitesy in Smeg’s new collection of Dolomite appliances and in the purifier module for hoods.

For the new Smeg Dolomite refrigerator, Vitesy has designed and implemented the photocatalytic filter capable of breaking down microorganisms while keeping food fresh for longer and reducing bad odours within a fridge. This technology was first used to create Vitesys own product, Shelfy, a revolutionary smart device built to fight the rising issue of food waste by extending food shelf life, reducing bacteria and, as said above, odours. For the Smeg hoods, an innovative and compact air purifier has been designed, which is a sustainable solution capable of reducing microbiological pollutants such as bacteria and viruses, and volatile organic compounds.

The Smeg Dolomite is a new luxury refrigeration concept for the home. The range includes combined refrigerators, wine cellars and fridge and freezer columns of various sizes. The Dolomite combined refrigerator, as the progenitor of the range, packs all the most advanced technologies for precision cooling and accurate food storage. Among the salient features, a state-of-the-art refrigeration system associated with the aforementioned photocatalytic filter.
