Whirlpool has launched a new range of washer dryers

Whirlpool has launched a new range of washer dryers as part of its FreshCare+ laundry collection

The top-of-the-range model (FWDD117168W) benefits from an enormous wash to dry capacity of 11 kg washing/7 kg drying load. Flaunting an efficient ‘A’ energy rating and a super-fast 45 minute wash and dry programme, it also benefits from the new Whirlpool FreshCare+™ system.

The Whirlpool FreshCare+™ system gently massages laundry with regular, slow, drum movements alternated with injections of steam. This combination allows the air to penetrate the fibres, minimising creasing and keeping laundry odour free for up to six hours after the cycle has finished*.

Also available in capacities of 10 kg wash/7 kg dry, and 8 kg wash/6 kg dry, the FreshCare+ washer dryers benefit from Whirlpool’s patented and intuitive 6TH SENSE® technology. 6TH SENSE® technology monitors the size of the load, adapting the resources to save up to 50 per cent of water, energy and time**.

The brand new range of Whirlpool FreshCare+ washer dryers is packed full of technology and different programmes for the user to choose from, including the Colour 15 programme, a delicate 15°C wash cycle, designed to preserve the bright colours on synthetic fabrics.

Catherine Balderson, Brand Manager, Whirlpool, says: “With the footprint of homes diminishing, many consumers do not have the space for both a washing machine and tumble dryer. We have therefore introduced a brand new range of washer dryers, as part of Whirlpool’s FreshCare+ laundry collection, that boast incredible capacities and a range of programmes to satisfy a variety of laundry tasks.”
