Zenith compact laminate from Wilsonart.

At 12.5mm thin and 100% waterproof, the runaway success of Zenith, the double-sided solid laminate worktop from Wilsonart UK took everyone by surprise.  Zenith is the first of its kind – a striking super-thin material which has a solid true black core.  It looks and feels just like a luxury composite worktop material but offers the ease, adaptability, and significant cost savings of a laminate.

Gemma Barratt, Business Manager at Wilsonart UK says “The demand for Zenith last year was stratospheric. As a result, we made a significant investment to support the large growth and we’d like to thank our customers who have supported us during our investment phase.”

Zenith is now 10% of Wilsonart’s UK sales. “The success of the product has been remarkable. We have now future proofed for such demand and are focussing on developing this exciting range, driving sales, and impressing our customers with new finishes and textures.” Says Nick Jones, UK Head of Sales & Marketing

Designed and manufactured by the Wilsonart group and specially formulated for use as a work surface, Zenith is not just another compact laminate product.  Zenith is now on display in over 300 showrooms across the country and can be found in merchants and DIY retailers nationally as well as independent kitchen retailers and online retailers served through its network of distribution partners.

Available in three textures each mimicking either concrete, granite or wood, Zenith offers a compelling range of design advantages for varying home space applications in all budgets. Curves, thick-and-thin surface combinations and co-ordinating backsplashes, are all simple to create and can be incorporated at the same time the kitchen or bathroom units are being installed.

Zenith has a decorative surface finish on two sides, perfect to create waterfall-end panels and co-ordinated bespoke open shelves.  In the kitchen an under-mount sink with drainer grooves is practical and easy to create as the material is 100% waterproof, revealing the stunning black core.

Zenith can be installed with standard tooling so there is no costly templating or long waits for off-site manufacture and it is also competitively priced, positioned between premium laminate and solid surface. Its look and texture create a realism that is virtually indistinguishable from natural slab materials.
